All CLP packages include a pre-session consultation by phone to plan the details of your session from the date, location, wardrobe and tools to help you best prepare for your session. Every detail matters!
CLP sessions are geared to be fun, informative and welcoming. We believe authentic laughter delivers the best smiles so we will interact with you in an effort to bring out those beautiful smiles. Additionally, we will coach you on posing. We encourage your interaction with the camera individually and especially for group shots. The more personality you deliver, the more you will love the results.
During your session, CLP will snap hundreds of photos. Following the session, CLP will select the best of the best images based on your selected package. Images will be lightly edited in our digital darkroom to optimize lighting, color, contrast, and softening skin tones. Extensive touchups such as body sculpting, anti-aging, and teeth whitening may be available for an additional fee.
Approximately 7-10 days after your session, CLP will email a link for your online gallery of beautifully edited proofs. The number of images contained in the gallery are based directly on your package selection. Want to see more images? You can upgrade your package for more edited proofs to be delivered! Details will be enclosed in the email announcing your proofs!
Once your’ve selected your desired images and shared them with your photographer, a final gallery will be posted within 24-48 hours. This gallery will be available for up to 2 years for unlimited downloads. Archival quality luster prints may be purchased directly through this gallery and are shipped directly to your door within 7-14 days. All prints purchased through the CLP gallery are guaranteed for quality and satisfaction.
CLP grants permission to use purchased CLP images for personal use for print and social media but the copyright remains with CLP. Commercial use of the images are available with permission. A fee may apply. Prints made outside of the CLP gallery are not guaranteed due to the various settings of different labs.
Please help us preserve the integrity of our brand and the quality of the images by refraining from editing, adding filters, or screen snapping images to post or print. CLP cannot guarantee print results for images that are edited by client. Additionally, many filters reduce the file size and diminish the quality. Clients may be asked to remove posted images that have been altered.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR TO THE SESSION?
Once your session is booked, you will receive a Style Guide that will suggest wardrobe colors, styles, and even provide posing tips. A week before your session, we will confirm details during the pre-session phone consultation.
HOW MANY FINAL IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
Images are determined by package selection and desired upgrades. Please see Packages & Pricing for more information.
WHAT TIME OF DAY ARE SESSIONS?
Sessions are conducted 1-2 hours prior to the sunset for optimal lighting outdoors. Indoor sessions vary by location.
WHAT IS YOUR RAINY-DAY POLICY?
A day or two before your session, Christine Lowell Photography will check in with the forecast. Conditions that may cause cancellation include wind in excess of 15 mph, day-long rain, temperatures in excess of 110 degrees, a monsoon storm or a haboob. You will be notified if your session needs to be rescheduled. Sessions rescheduled due to inclement weather are no additional fee to the client.
WHERE CAN I GO TO GET MY DIGITAL IMAGES PRINTED?
For best results, we recommend choosing a premier printing lab. We recommend MPix, Shutterfly, and Minted.
ARE PRINTS FROM OUTSIDE PRINT SHOPS GUARANTEED?
For guaranteed results, purchase prints directly through Christine Lowell Photography.
CAN I EDIT MY OWN PICTURES?
We edit and present photos to you in final form. To maintain the image integrity, we ask that filters and editing not be conducted on the final images. Christine Lowell Photography is not responsible for print mishaps that occur due to images being edited, cropped, filtered or image sizes changed. If you have a special editing request, please contact CLP to make the request. An additional fee may apply.
WHAT IF I JUST NEED ONE IMAGE FOR MY HEADSHOT?
Whether one image is selected or multiple, the same process is used for each client session — from consultation to photo shoot to culling and editing and presentation. This is why we offer a minimum of five images for personal brand image and headshot packages.
WHY DON'T YOU PRESENT ALL PHOTOS TAKEN AT THE SESSION?
Due to the length of time it would take to convert and edit each photo, we do not present all images from the session. Instead, we cull the session images to represent the best photos for the package. We then edit each presented photo, so you may select from the very best images.
HOW CAN I RESERVE MY APPOINTMENT?
Please fill out a contact form to request an appointment. There is a 50% nonrefundable retainer due to reserve a date for a photo session. Retainer will be deducted from the final balance due the day of the session.
ARE YOUR SESSIONS INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
The majority of Christine Lowell Photography sessions are conducted in the beautiful outdoors of the Sonora Desert. Indoor sessions are available for special events, team photos and headshot events.
DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?
Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Please compete the contact form and include the number of individuals, the desired setting/backdrop, and the deadline for final delivery. Christine Lowell Photography will respond to your request within the next business day.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?
The need for rescheduling may arise. A one-time rescheduling of your appointment is available for no additional charge to you when 7 days notice is provided. Saturday appointments will be rescheduled to the next available Monday-Friday opening. Appointments must be rescheduled within 30 days of original session. There is a $100 rescheduling fee for changes made thereafter.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
Cancellations result in forfeiture of your nonrefundable retainer.
